Free maintenance classes

We have recently been successful in gaining funding through Cycling UK as part of the Big Bike Revival programme.

This funding will allow us to run some fantastic, practical and informative bike maintenance classes for parents of club members. These classes are aimed at complete beginners and are completely free to attend.  The hope is that the skills learned will help parents both get their own bikes out more often, while also keeping club members bikes safe and in working order.

The first class covers the basics, before moving on to more intermediate skills in a second class. Parents attend both classes, either in session one or session two, on the dates below:

Session 1
Tuesday 21st January AND Tuesday 28th January
6pm – 9pm

Session 2
Wednesday 22nd AND Wednesday 29th January
6pm – 9pm

The sessions will be run by Falkirk Active Travel Hub at their premises at 203 Falkirk High Street.  All tea and biscuits will be provided.  It is recommended participants take their own bike in order to learn how to maintain their own bike.  Please comment on Facebook with which session you would like to book on.

Places are limited and will be on a first come first served basis.
